COVID 19 Information
Milestones is an ESSENTIAL SERVICE for children and families in this time. It is currently very easy for children and families to become very stressed and anxiousWe hope we will not have to close our doors for face to face appointments, however we are actively working on telehealth applications that can be utilised for appointments for anyone who doesn’t want to come into the clinic.
Cancellations: Due to the COVID 19 outbreak we understand that people may not be able to attend scheduled appointments. Please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellation fees will not be charged in these circumstances.
Fees: We are very keen to work with our families to ensure we all get through the next few months. If you are experiencing financial difficulties please let us know. We understand. We may be able to utilise new bulk billing Medicare telehealth items for those who need ongoing psychological support developed especially to be used at this time.
We also want you to know that the practice is doing everything we can to maintain social distancing and implementing significant hygiene measures in the clinic to ensure a clean and safe environment.
We ask three things of our wonderful clients:
Please wash your hands or use handsanitiser before coming into the clinic and arrive for your appointment at the scheduled time (not earlier).
Stay home if you are sick and ring us – we can always reschedule or use telehealth facilities.
Remember to find time to enjoy the quieter life we are now all experiencing.
Remember our clients come in because they need support and/or experiencing challenges that they need help with, they are not sick. Most of our clients are children and families – we do not risk exposure for elderly people.
